CINNAMON SPICE CARAMEL APPLE OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 1/2   cup   dry rolled oats
  • 2  tsp   cinnamon
  • tbsp   chia seeds
  • 1/2   tbsp  honey
  • 1/2  cup   coconut or almond milk
  • 1/2   medium size  apple. chopped
  • scoop  Salted caramel vegan protein powder (I use Sprouts)

Instructions

  • Warm 2 TBSP of water in a sauce pan
  • Dice 1/2 medium apple and add to warm sauce pan
  • Add 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp honey to the saucepan as you saute apples until no longer firm (about 6-7 minutes)
  • Once soft, set apples aside to cool before assembling overnight oats (Approx 15 min)
  • Once cool, use a wide mouth 8oz mason jar to add 1/2 cup of oats to the jar
  • Add remaining ingredients (1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 TBSP honey, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1 scoop of salted caramel protein, 1 TBSP chia seeds)
  • Mix the ingredients and seal the mason jar
  • Let set for 3-4 hours or overnight and ENJOY
