WELCOME TO DAY 9

Welcome to what we like to call “EDUCATION NATION” here in Fit, Fyne & Fabulous. Today’s Education is all about ..
“Sugar Detox Side Effects”

But first let’s talk about a little about MINDSET SHALL WE? Specifically having a Thankful Heart!

Experiencing challenging times…
As we experience challenging times, it may feel like a tough time to be thankful. Yet practicing thankfulness is one of the most powerful ways of thinking to bring about a change in our circumstances. This Gentle Reminder offers guidance on how to turn thoughts of fear, worry and hopelessness to thoughts of thankfulness.

Struggling with negative thoughts…
We often find ourselves struggling with thoughts of fear, worry, helplessness, self-doubt, blame, anger, frustration, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, despair, and hopelessness. It probably comes as no surprise to hear me say that when these kinds of thoughts are ruling our world, we are not in a powerful state. You have no doubt noticed that these thoughts do not bring you peace or inspire you. You may have also noticed the negative effects of these thoughts on your health and vitality. These thoughts do absolutely nothing to move you in a direction that serves your purpose. In fact, they make matters worse.

Give total thanks…
Thankfulness, on the other hand, is one of the quickest and most powerful ways to create a change in our circumstances and move us in a direction that serves our purpose. Being thankful raises individuals and organizations to a new level of consciousness. It gives us access to our highest awareness and our ability to see the myriad of possibilities, discover what we truly want, and create and realize a vision for the future.

Divas remain thankful in your thoughts, speech and action!!  It’s vital to your health!!

WHAT YOU MIGHT BE FEELING THIS WEEK
– SUGAR DETOX

The 1st day or 2 I had a very slight headache, but now I’m only experiencing the positive. I don’t feel bloated like I usually do, no sugar cravings, but oddly I have been craving salt (I did have a few pistachios last night when it hit). I have had more energy and sleeping a little longer.

  • Georgette Thompson says:

At the beginning of the sugar detox, I had a headache and low energy. On the positive side, I had less sugar cravings and better & longer sleep most days.

@CoachTwy I didn’t experience any significant side effects. Of course when you’re trying to do right, there are ALL kinds of temptations that present themselves to you in some form or fashion. Although I haven’t been presented (in person) with any temptations this time, (THANK GOD), I HAVE seen them in the media🙄🙄 OMG! I know I can just turn it off or look away… but that lemon pie recipe that mesmerized me earlier… All I can say is…🤤🤤🤤!! “OK…I just had a moment but, I’m back” 😁🤣 Sooo… to answer your question… that’s what my temptations have presented themselves as.🤷🏾. i’m surprised but extatically HAPPY to say that… I’ve been good during this detox👍🏾😁

I’ve also been working on my sleep, & that’s been going well for me. If this sugar detox has anything to do with that, then that’s just another reason for me to give KUDOS to the program bcz if anyone knows me, they know that’s something that I’ve struggled with for quite some time now. Along with using my the CPap machine as I should & getting at least 7 hrs of sleep, I’ve been feeling really good & surprised but pleased that I’ve not had those SERIOUS CRAVINGS like I’ve lived with for-everrrrrrr!! I think we’re onto something here!👍🏾😁👍🏾

@Coach Twy day 4 of the Sugar Detox. I haven’t had any negative effects since starting the Meal Plan this week. Before FFF I had started a Whole Food Plant Base diet no meat or sugar. But was not consistent and give in to my sugar addiction. Now I did experience a moment of temptation last week. I had made some Healthy Oatmeal, mixed nuts, and raisin cookies the week before and, they were calling my name. So I put them away out of sight had few raw nuts with water and stayed true to the plan. I have noticed more energy, no bloating ,and my sleep is getting better even though I use a CPap machine last night was the best. I slept over 10 hours didn’t even hear my alarm go out this morning. 🙂 I don’t know the Sugar Detox had anything to do with it but I’m Trusting and Believing in the process.

  • Petra says:

@coachtwy I haven’t experienced any negative side effects. I have been enjoying this journey. The food is delicious. I do have to be more consistent with my water intake. I forget sometimes when I am working. I am now eating 4 to 5 meals a day. The first day I felt full after 3 meals but my body has adjusted. 😊 @janettebarnette

  • Georgette Thompson says:

I experienced low energy and good sleep.

  • Cynthia Meeks says:

I haven’t experienced any negative side effects at this time. The food is always delicious. @CoachTwy
