BASIC GREEN SMOOTHIE INSTRUCTIONS:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Cup of Leafy Greens
- 1 Cup of Liquid
- 1.5 cup of preferred fruit
DIRECTIONS:
Blend Leafy Green & Liquid together 1st!
Add fruit, blend again. (ensure at least one of your fruit is frozen to chill the smoothie and add texture, the more frozen fruit, the thicker smoothie)

Recipe #1: {Peachy Green Smoothie}

Ingredients
โข 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
โข 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
โข 1 cup frozen peaches
โข 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
โข 1/2 banana
โข 2 cups kale
โข 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
Prep:
Add all ingredients to blender. Mix until smooth.
Recipe #2: {Fabulous Green Smoothie}
Serves 1
Ingredients:
โข 1 cup fresh spinach
โข 1 cup icy cold water
โข ยฝ cup mango
โข ยฝ cup pineapple
โข 1 FROZEN-chopped banana
Prep:
Tightly pack leafy greens in a measuring cup and then toss into blender.
Add water and blend together until all leafy chunks are gone.
Add mango, pineapple and bananas and blend again until smooth.

โข 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
โข 1 cup fresh spinach
โข 1 cup roughly chopped kale, ribs removed
โข 4 small broccoli florets, sliced and frozen
โข 1 banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen
โข 1 apple, cored and roughly chopped

Combine ingredients in blender and blend until smooth

Ingredients:
โข 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter
โข 2 cups fresh baby spinach (tightly packed)
โข 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
โข 1/2 frozen banana
โข 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
Prep:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on medium high speed until fully combined.
Recipe #5: {Reese’s PB Cup Spinach Smoothie}

Ingredients
โข 1 tablespoon raw honey
โข 2 cups baby Spinach
โข 2 cups unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
โข 1 cup Plain greek yogurt
โข 2 tablespoons all natural Peanut Butter
โข 1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
โข 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
โข 10-12 ice cubes
Prep:
Blend everything together until smooth.

I always enjoy a good green smoothie and there are several ingredient options here. I used the spinach, banana & pineapple and flaxseed with unsweetened almond milk. It gets an ‘A’. I’m curious about the bok choy and swiss chard, so I’ll experiment with those two next.
