Rewriting Black History, Changing our Health Legacies with CHIQUITA SMITH

10958149_10203209088179651_2064117933_oLet us introduce you Chiquita Smith, a mother of 5, and wife to a wonderful husband.  Her last pregnancy was a scary one you guys!!! She was hospitalized for more than a week after the birth of her son for life threatening high blood pressure.

Chiquita shares she felt like she was going “to die”.  After more than a week, her pressure was stabilized, and she was sent home with blood pressure meds.  She had been taking these meds for more than 3 years when she was introduced to Fit, Fyne and Fabulous!

And after 5 weeks of working out, drinking Shakeology and eating clean, Chiquita lost 27.5 inches and kicked those HPB meds to the curb!!!  We are so excited to have helped Chiquita in such a life changing way.  Let’s learn more about how she achieved her goals!!!

How many pounds and inches have you lost since joining Fit, Fyne and Fabulous?

I’ve lost 4 pounds and 27.5 inches

How did you learn about Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous?

My husband wanted me to check out his classmate Nicole Dyer Twyman’s page. He was impressed and wanted me to try what she was doing.

What prevented you from reaching your weight loss goals prior to joining Fit, Fyne and Fabulous?

I had terrible eating habits and no time (with a full time job and 5 kids) to really commit myself to going to the gym.

How did Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous help you get closer to reaching your fitness goals?

The accountability was key for me and the shakes really helped with appetite control!

Would you recommend Fit, Fyne and Fabulous to a friend? If yes, why?

Yes!!!! I will eventually personally recommend it to all of my friends


What has been your most rewarding NSV or “Non-Scale Victory” since joining FFF?

I have a red dress that I hadn’t worn in 15 yrs that I was finally able to fit again. It was the best feeling ever.  However the BEST NSV, is kicking those Blood Pressure Pills to the curb!!!

Think of a day where you felt you wanted to give up on your journey. How did Fit, Fyne and Fabulous motivate you to keep going?

One day I was just not feeling it and when I checked my phone there was a very motivating inbox that one of the coaches sent out that made me get my butt up and work for what I wanted.10945864_10203158595317361_7266800601854070291_o

What would you say to a friend who was trying to decide between getting a trainer at the gym vs working out from home and getting FREE virtual accountability?

I would let them know the benefits of working out in the comfort of their own home as opposed to the gym. I would let them know how serious the accountability is so you don’t feel like you’re in it by yourself

What have you learned about yourself during your fitness journey thus far?

That I am a lot stronger than I ever thought I was.


What advice/tips would you like to share with others who are on the same fitness journey?

Just envision yourself where you want to be and work to get there!  Hold yourself accountable and let us help you!
