Summer is in full affect and it is hottttttt Divas! When it comes to clothing during the summer months I like to keep it simple and let my accessories be the star. I am obsessed with these small items and will purchase high and low end pieces. What better way to change the look of an outfit and save money than with accessories. Everyone that knows me know that my signatures are cold shoulder tops/dresses, cardigans (yes I have one in every color) 😕 and accessories! Here are my top picks for summer accessories. (I realized I said accessories in almost every sentence, see I told you I’m obsessed and can not stop saying the word.) 😀

Hats are great because they can keep you cool and hide the sun; or be an aide on those bad hair days. LOL I always thought that hats can be sleek, cool and mysterious all in one. The fedora and floppy hats are one of my favorites.

A little sparkle never hurt anyone. Just a little background on this piece. My auntie Sheila gave me this choker as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and I never wore it until recently. This is the last gift I received from her since she became ill and it holds a special place in my heart. My aunt was always fashion forward; in fact she purchase my first pair of Guess jeans when I was in elementary school. She also gave me my first Louis Vuitton purse in junior high school. So this piece reminds me of her; vibrant and a risk taker stylist. I wear this choker in honor of her and don’t have to have an occasion to wear it because it can be worned dressed up and dressed down. Each outfit change makes the necklace look different.
