Welcome to Day 11 of Fit, Fyne and Fabulous’ 12 days of FITmas!! Let us introduce you to Ms. Vanessa Bailey. Ms Bailey was ready for the next level of fitness, and after 10 weeks with Fit, Fyne and Fabulous, Vanessa has lost over 13 pounds and 13 inches!!! We are sooooo proud of how Vanessa has revamped her temple. Let’s learn how she did it, shall we?
How many pounds and inches have you lost since joining Fit, Fyne and Fabulous? I’ve lost about 13 lbs and about the same in inches over all.
How did you learn about Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous? Nicole Dyer-Twyman
How did Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous help you get closer to reaching your fitness goals? The most impactful aspect of Fit, Fyne, and Fabulous that helped me continue a successful weight loss journey was daily accountability.
Would you recommend Fit, Fyne and Fabulous to a friend? If yes, why? Absolutely! The reason why is because of the accountability, support, and the motivation. Yes, we can do anything on our own, however sometimes, if not often times, having a team behind you to support and encourage you can be the determining factor of success or failure.
Think of a day where you felt you wanted to give up on your journey. How did Fit, Fyne and Fabulous motivate you to keep going? What helps me when I’m feeling challenged, is seeing first, seeing everyone who hasn’t and second, having a support coach give me that nudge to remind me to keep on going. Plus, in a challenge, there is someone depending on my to pull my weight. I can’t let that person down.
What would you say to a friend who was trying to decide between getting a trainer at the gym vs working out from home and getting FREE virtual accountability? We all have different needs. However, I would definitely advocate for PRICELESS virtually accountability. The coaches are always available and because of their accumulated knowledge, if one does not know the answer to a question or may not have the guidance you are looking for, there is DEFINITELY another coach on the team that does. Plus, coaches are there for follow up to help keep you on track.
What have you learned about yourself during your fitness journey thus far? The first thing I learned is that I CAN! The effort and dedication put in is not without reward. The greater the effort, the greater the reward. Staying on top of my food preparation/planning and nailing my workout sessions are the key to my weight loss and NSV.
What advice/tips would you like to share with others who are on the same fitness journey? I was told at the beginning of my FFF journey that it is more important to focus on each pound lost than on the grand total of pounds we want to loose. It is important to remember that this journey is one day at a time, one pound at a time and it does take hard work and dedication.
