Now on to the subject matter; Let’s Talk Blazers! Fall is here and the weather is cooler which means it’s time to layer up. I love this time of year because of the many fashion options that are available. Blazers are a staple in my wardrobe; if I’m invited to an event at the last minute….I pull out a blazer and I’m good to go. Plus there is a certain sophistication about blazers that make me feel like a Boss. 🙂 Blazers can be worn to the office with a skirt, pants or a dress or on the weekends with a t-shirt / tank top and jeans. Today I’m sharing a couple of different looks and hope you can get inspiration to fit your personal style.
CAPE BLAZER
This holiday gem is sure to spruce up your attire. Cape blazers are seaux in and it’s a great alternative to the traditional blazers. Get the look here
CAMOUFLAGE Jacket
Camouflage is definitely on trend. This jacket is not a blazer but I had to include it because I love it. :-D… As with the blazer this camo jacket can be dress up or down. I love the edge that this pattern brings. Plus the cinch in the waist is ideal for us curvy girls; no box cuts for us! Get the look here
DUSTER
The Duster is actually more a jacket than a blazer but the many choices to pair it with are endless. From jeans, to dresses, to shorts or a catsuit; its all about how you feel and the event you are attending. I paired my duster with jeans, boots and my Fit,Fyne, Fabulous tank. Get the looks below

CUTOUT BLAZER
What can I say about this blazer but it’s EVAREE-THANG (everything)! From the cutout shoulders to the construction of the piece itself. It definitely gives me sassy and boss all in one. This blazer reminds me of my mother who would wear fitted suites with the shoulder pads to work. I thought she was the most beautiful and well put together woman in the world. (Well she is according me 😀 ) Those suites reminded me of how hard she worked to make sure I had an awesome life (and trust me it was everything and more). So when I say Boss that word embodies my mother who sacrifice so much for me. Enough of the mushy stuff and let me tell you where you can get the look. Click here
I also wore this jacket to a work banquet and made it into a tuxedo suite. Here I am with Kiki Barnes (one of the Fit, Fyne, Fabulous Live Convention speakers). PS…excuse the tired eyes it was a long weekend 🙂
