Ingredients
  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 4 tablespoons Taco Seasoning (comment below for a recipe you can make at home)
  3. 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, with juices
  4. 1 (16-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
  5. 1⁄2 cup sliced black olives
  6. Sea salt (optional)
  7. 1 large avocado, peeled, pitted, and sliced, for garnish
  8. 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish
  9. Fresh cilantro or flat-leaf parsley, for garnish (optional)
  10. Sliced jalapeños, for serving (optional)
  11. Sour cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Put the ground beef and 2 tablespoons of the seasoning blend in the pan and cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  2. To the skillet, add the diced tomatoes and green chilies, coleslaw mix, and remaining 2 tablespoons of the seasoning blend. Cook until the cabbage is tender, about 7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the olives and cook until heated, about 2 minutes. Taste and add salt, if desired.
  4. Top each serving with avocado slices, green onions, as well as cilantro, jalapeños, or sour cream, if using.
Notes
  1. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

      Hi diva, the homemade recipe was shared in the DIVAHood VIP Meal plan in the Taco Soup Recipe. For your convenience, I am copying it here for you too: Homemade Taco Seasoning
      2 Tbsps chili powder
      1/2 tsp garlic powder
      1/2 tsp onion powder
      1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
      1/2 tsp dried oregano
      1 tsp paprika
      3 tsps ground cumin
      2 tsps sea salt
      2 tsps ground black pepper
      In a small mixing bowl, whisk all taco seasoning ingredients until combined well.
      Store in an airtight container.
