- You can also find it at your local grocer and it may be in the liquor aisle as it is also used to make Pina Coladas.
- Almond Flour can also be found at the same stores mentioned above.

I’m Nicole Twyman, a native New Orleanian, who has lived all across the US! Although, my small family of 4 currently calls Los Angeles, CA home. I am a proud 40+ year old mom of a wonderfully energetic and theatrical daughter, and a handsome, scholarly athlete!
While I have worked in corporate America as a certified senior project / program / portfolio manager for Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft, Procter & Gamble & IBM, my passion is service. It has always been my desire to live a life of service to others; which I took every opportunity to explore as an active member of many of my church’s ministries and of my public service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
Well, now I am over the top excited to have the opportunity to serve divas through my very own ministry, Fit, Fyne & Fabulous.
I’m allergic to nuts. Is there another type of flour I could use in place of the almond flour?
Yes, you can use coconut flour diva 🙂 Thanks for the question.
Those Almond Joy Pancakes are the best. Almond Joy’s are my favorite candy bar, when I first saw the post, I was like I have got to try them. They are so delicious you don’t need the maple syrup.
You sure don’t need the syrup!!!
I love these tips!

This morning I had the almond joy pancakes. They were soooooo yummy! I have to admit that I wasn’t too sure about how they were going to turn out as I was preparing them but I like the almond joy candy so I remained hopeful. LOL 1st they make your house smell heavenly as they are cooking. Now, I used the unblanched almond flour meal for mine because I thought it was be nice to have the added texture. I really enjoyed the pancakes. The serving size is just enough to be satisfying.
Tips:
#1 – Cut your chocolate into small pieces so you’ll have plenty of pieces throughout the pancake. The chocolate makes this recipe taste like a little piece of heaven.
#2 – Put your syrup on the side as you may not need it and even if you do you really only need a little dab.
Made these today… soooo good. The batter is thick but it cooks up well! Delish😘
