MY WHY
I don’t remember where I got this idea, but now drinking Freshly sqeezed Organic Celery Juice has become a true morning ritual for me. It’s now what I use every morning to break my fast (I’m an IFer). I started juicing celery because I learned so much about the benefits thru research I couldn’t help but start. I began to experience the awesome benefits after a couple months of doing this almost daily (okay I’m not perfect, LOL) and I wanted to share with you how I prepared my juice!
THE WHAT
You really only need 2 main things to get started, or and by the way, I don’t have a juicer, here’s my blender version:
Nutribullet Blender (my favorite even over that expensive Vitamix, I have one, and Nutribullet rules) – here’s my model (click here)
Nut Milk Bag (when I first started I use cheese cloth and let’s just say I’m never going back to that again, LOL) – here’s the brand I use now and I love it. PS. You can also use this to make your own almond and cashew milk. (click here)
I don’t drink this for the taste, I drink it for the nutrients. It’s not my breakfast, I eat that after my morning workout!
MY MORNING RITUAL
A part of my morning ritual looks like this…
Upon waking– Prayer or Journal or Mediation plus Celery Juice
30 minutes later– Pre Workout (click here) for my fav pre-workout brand and flavor
30 minutes later– Drop kids to school and head to the gym
I’m proud that I have made a new habit of drinking this power juice most mornings of the week! You should try it for at least a month to see any benefits!
- 1 bunch of organic celery
- 1 blender
- 1 milk nut bag
- 1 small 16 ounce container - or larger
- Wash celery
- Cut into smaller chunks
- Add to Blender ( with 1/2 ounce of water to make it blend easier)
- Blend Celery and water
- Pour Celery bulk and juice into nut milk bag while holding it over the 16 ounce container
- Squeeze / strain the celery in the nut milk bag, keeping the celery bulk in the bag, and allowing the juice to flow into the container
- Drink immediately for full results
- If the taste is doable, juice a cucumber / apple to add flavor, but the goal is 100% juice for full benefits
- This is a great option as you get adjusted to the flavor. As you get used to it, keep increasing the ratio of celery.
- If 16 ounces is too much, start with a smaller amount and increase as you go
