HAPPY SUNDAY DIVAS!!
I hope you all had a wonderful week, and even if it came with a few challenges along the way…guess what? You made it to Sunday! 😉 😀

Sooo, I have been reading this weekly confession devotional book, titled ‘Faith By Confessions.’ It was written by Pastor James Greer, of Journey Church here in Louisiana. After reading the devotion, I remembered how important it is for us to speak life over ourselves and the people around us.

Proverbs 18:21 – The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

There are times life throws us a curve ball and it’s so easy to say something negative about the situation. But if you think about it, speaking negativity is not going to help the situation. Why not speak life? Why not speak the Word of God?
“I AM WONDERFULLY MADE”

*LIFE HAPPENING IN REAL TIME*
My husband and I are in a ‘transitional season’. There is nothing about our life that is ‘our normal’, and there are days I wake up with negative emotions and thoughts. And yes diva, I have spoken negative words based on those negative emotions.
Those negative words didn’t help the situation, they only drove me deeper into an unhappy, and depressed state of mind.
Then I decided to change my stinking thinking! LOL! I aim to start my day with a spirit of gratitude. I read scripture, meditate, and even listen to positive and uplifting music. But most importantly I began practicing to SPEAK LIFE.
________________________________________________________________________________________
Divas I challenge you to pick a declaration to speak over yourself each day. For example: Monday – I AM Blessed, Tuesday – I AM Loved, Wednesday – I AM Victorious…
There is something about hearing those words spoken over your life that plants a seed. And if you continue to practice this I am confident you will begin to see changes in your life. Words Have Power – Speak Life!
Guess what…I have another theme song to help you Speak Life! Last week we jammed to “Get Up” by Mary Mary (click here)
(click the link below to hear this our theme song for this week)
Divas, as we prepare for this upcoming week, I challenge you to pay attention to the words you are speaking about yourself and those you come in contact with. Began to Speak Life over every situation you encounter this week and see how God moves.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for another week of life and life more abundantly. Thank you that we are able to Speak Life over ourselves and not have to wait and depend on others to do so. Thank you for blessing us with the power to Speak Life and to know there is Power in the Name of Jesus.
As we go about our daily lives, we ask you to help us to remember to Speak Life over ourselves, our situations, and over the people we connect with.
We know that something is going to happen this week to cause us to speak negativity, but we ask you help us to catch our tongue before those negative words slip out. We ask that you allow your Word, and the words we confess this week to be planted in our hearts so that we may speak life.
Luke 6:45 says, “ A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Therefore, Lord please allow good things, positive words, your Word to be stored up in our hearts.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
I’m Priscilla, native New Orleanian but currently living in central Louisiana with my husband. After living away from Louisiana for over 10 years, it’s good to be back in my home state. My spiritual journey has grown and developed over the years into an intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father. I love to worship and take time for daily devotion and prayer. A relationship with Jesus is so vital for living a faith filled, full life. My fitness journey started with FFF in 2015. I was overweight, sickly, and depressed. Within six month of support, coaching and love from this awesome FFF team I got under 170. I believe that with commitment, accountability, inspiration and prayer we can enjoy healthy, long and prosperous lives. I also believe healthy living is one of God’s desires for our life. He wants us to take care of the temple He blessed us with. I’m glad to be a part of the FFF team by sharing weekly devotionals and prayer; and I am excited about all that God has for us this year. Join us every Sunday for FFF’s Spiritual Moment in devotion, inspiration and prayer.
Speaking life every minute of the day. I will not let negativity into my life. I LOVE GOD and He LOVES me.
Amen!
So true. You never know how the words you say might help or hurt someone.
Side note: I have loved TobyMac since like 8th grade, lol! My favorite album is “Diverse City.”

I agree, speaking the Word of God and the goodness of God makes our soul alive! It brings us to remembrance of who he is and how he saves and blessess us. My experiences with speaking Life also includes remembering to be thankful of all the wonderful blessings that God is bestowing upon family, extended family and friends and the peace and the assurance it brings. Thanks for allowing me to share, God truly confirms his Word in us and by us. Love you!!!
Hey Mom Monica! I totally agree…we were talking about how blessed we were yesterday and it helped move us into a wonderful day.

Two beautiful, uplifting songs. Speaking life over ourselves makes everything better. When we speak life into ourselves others notice and begin to speak life into us as well. Thank you for your post.
Joy…aren’t those songs cool? I’m glad they were uplifting. OMG, I love that… as we speak life into ourselves others will believe it and confirm it. It’s the same when we speak life into other people…they began to believe it…that positive seed is planted and they too began to transform. I’ve seen it go both ways…positively and negatively.
The power of the tongue and speaking positivity over your life is so essential. I often forget this. I thank God for pouring this word into your soul so that you could share with us!
Amen Tamara. I am thankful as well to God as well. Thanks so much for sharing.
Lots of Love
Cil
Thanks for the words of encouragement AND I’m gonna change that stinkin thinking!
Amen.
