Make the call. Make the repair. Make the doctor’s appointment. Submit the resume. Have the difficult conversation. Send the proposal. Clean the room. Service the car. Enroll in school. Write the paper. File the taxes. Pay the bill. Send the invoice.
Do whatever thing you’ve been procrastinating about.

“I have trouble committing to things and following through.”
“In January I am always motivated to work towards my goals, but then I fall off.”
“When I am stressed I eat junk and then I abandon my meal plan completely.”
“Last time I messed up so bad.”
“My schedule is so busy that I have a hard time committing to working out regularly.”
Do any of these excuses or mistakes sound familiar? I have said or thought them all at some point or another. When the going gets tough, sometimes our first reaction is to come up with an excuse as to why something can’t get done—but that is just too easy.
We have to re-program our minds in order to avoid falling prey to the same ol’ habits. Know this-Adversity is coming but how you handle it will make all the difference in your end result. I encourage you not to dwell on the mistakes of the past. Replace those negative thoughts with positive affirmations and even better be prepared by knowing how you plan to respond when “things” try to get in the way of reaching your goals.
Accept that mistakes are a part of the process and are never meant to derail you. Remember those excuses/mistakes and come up with affirmations that help pivot you forward and inspire you to make the change (mind shift) necessary to keep moving forward.

Love this sometimes you make any excuses in the world not to get up and handle business. But I have began to repair my own credit cause I would like to purchase a house and I am determined to do it. No more excuses for anything
Taking the first step can seem scary but looking back at your progress is so rewarding.
I have to get some personal things in order like paperwork I should have filled out months ago I am guilty of procrastination .
So you know the problem. Now give yourself a realistic deadline to get’er done! You got this!
Something that I did that I had been wanting to do was to sign up for personal training sessions. I’ve always wanted to do it but never did because I belonged to a gym. I never put my needs first and always find an excuse to give to everyone else first. In the new year I’ve learned to start valuing & putting myself first sometimes.

I signed up for online Paleo for beginners.
Since my mother’s death in 2007, the relationship between me and my dad had been strained. I just couldn’t get with the thought of him moving on with his life without my mom.😢 I had been putting off making amends with my dad for years! This past September I lost my brother (my pal) he was only 53! I decided that I had to make amends with myself and my dad before one of us is called to the end of our lives. 2 weeks before the end of the year, me, my husband and my dad went out for brunch. I had a long talk with my dad, told him that I loved him and got some questions answered. It was like there was a weight lifted off of me!!! We celebrated his 79th birthday last week and we had a great time!!! No more excuses, no more procrastination! Tomorrow is not promised!!!
I worked out today even though I truly did want to. I didn’t make an excuse for myself today.
