The Cliff Notes from today’s reading:
“Chapter 7: Think About What You’re Thinking About!
”

The Word of God teaches us what we should spend our time thinking about.  The psalmist said that he thought about or meditated on the precepts of God.

I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways {the paths of life marked out by Your law}  -Psalm 119:15

I am exercising not only my body but my mind. I don’t have think about whatever comes into mind. Dwell on good things. I need to apply the word to my thoughts process. My mind is made up I will be fit. I will eat healthy. Focus on the goal ahead and apply the word of God in that area of my life. Devil my mind is not your playground. I am a warrior equipped with the weapon to defeat you live victorious.

This sounds like someone who is ready! Isn’t that a gift that you don’t have to accept all thoughts that come in your mind?! What a revelation!

  • Danielle says:

This book has awakened me and caused me to be more thought conscious for sure. I heard a sermon years ago that touched on this. Some things we have to “cast down” and those are negative, unprofitable thoughts. Other things we should “cast up” i.e. give them to God. These are things that may worry us like our kids or work. We have to stay positive and know He will see us through.
