WELCOME TO INSPIRATION NATION
WHERE WE WILL REVIEW 1 chapter of JOYCE MEYER’s book, “The Battlefield of the Mind” each day during APRIL!
The Cliff Notes from today’s reading:
“Chapter 14: A PASSIVE MIND“
Are you driven by emotions? Some of us are diva; and it’s to a point where if there’s an absence for strong feels they will stop doing what they ought to do! They will praise if they feel like, give it they feel like it, workout if they feel like, meal prep if they feel like it. If they don’t feel like it, they don’t do it! Being passive is the topic of today’s chapter!
1: EMPTY SPACE IS A PLACE
The place we give Satan is often empty space. One way to keep wrong thoughts out of your mind is to keep you mind full of right thoughts. A passive person thinks he is doing nothing wrong because he is doing nothing. His analysis is correct, but his behavior is not. The problem arose precisely because he did nothing.

I’m Nicole Twyman, a native New Orleanian, who has lived all across the US! Although, my small family of 4 currently calls Los Angeles, CA home. I am a proud 40+ year old mom of a wonderfully energetic and theatrical daughter, and a handsome, scholarly athlete!
While I have worked in corporate America as a certified senior project / program / portfolio manager for Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft, Procter & Gamble & IBM, my passion is service. It has always been my desire to live a life of service to others; which I took every opportunity to explore as an active member of many of my church’s ministries and of my public service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
Well, now I am over the top excited to have the opportunity to serve divas through my very own ministry, Fit, Fyne & Fabulous.
From the cliff notes… I confess I am that diva… only recently could accept just how emotional and passive I am. I really need to get this book…. wow…
This is deep.
This book is great because it deals with us at the very core of our beliefs and behaviors. I urge you to get it and work towards an action plan to get you going when those emotions arise.
This directly related to my fitness goals and man am I moved by emotion. I think the best way to combat those emotions is to keep my goals in view. I respond well to inspiration so following along with this books is very helpful as well. For those times when I don’t feel like it I plan to remember my affirmation and my goal….after all…nit feeling like meal prepping is what got me here in the first place.
