The Cliff Notes from today’s reading:
“Chapter 16: My future is determined by my past and my present

You know the Israelites right diva?  They had no positive vision for their lives – no dreams.  They knew where they came from but didn’t know where they were going.  Everything was based on what they had seen and could see.  They did not know how to see with “the eye of faith”.

1: BAD THOUGHTS PRODUCE BAD ATTITUDES
It is easy to see from Numbers 20: 2-4, that the Israelites were not trusting God at all.  They had a negative, failure attitude. They decided they would fail before they ever really got started, simply because every circumstance was not perfect!  They displayed an attitude that came from a wrong mindset!  Bad attitudes are the fruit of bad thoughts.

Oh wowzers! Nail on the head! I’m so guilty. This is the reason…. So clear… I really need to just receive the unconditional love of God. #Iamreceiving #walkingpatientlyinfaith

    • Danielle Irving says:

That’s right patience is the key. The thoughts will come bit whether you allow them to move you and your attitude is up to you. Let’s go diva and cast those bad thoughts away so we can achieve our goals.

  • Valerie McKenzey says:

Each day it is a struggle. There are times when I’m encouraging myself, doing the right things and have the forward thinking mindset. There are other times, especially if I’m tired or overwhelmed by the needs of others that I just don’t want to be bothered. This is when I have to have that one on one conversation with God.

  • Danielle Irving says:

My thoughts are telling me I can do it and His word continues to confirm that this is his will for my life. He did not create me to allow flood to become my God. Instead he is and the food is only meant to nourish and sustain me. My mind is encouraged!
